Blog # 4 Dominos Obituary

Today is a very sad day for all pizza lovers. We have lost our beloved Dominos Pizza. Dominos was tragically taken from us by a heart attack due to high cholesterol last night and will be sadly missed. Dominos Pizza was a pioneer in the pizza business. It was always trying to please it's customers and go above and beyond our requests.

Domino's leaves behind hundreds of employees nationwide and thousands of loyal fans across the world! Several pizza companies have tried to compete with Dominos but none have succeeded. Dominos was working on improving it's products appeal, taste, and ingredients before its untimely demise. I hope that whoever has the courage to take over will continue Domino's legacy.

Blog # 3 Dominos delivery

This assignment was a bit easier for me since I usually order pizza online. Since we just had pizza the other day I only ordered 1 medium half chees and half mushroom pizza. I prefer ordering online over going to the store, ordering the pizza, and having to wait till the pizza is ready. Ordering online is a bit more time consuming the first time you do it because you have to create an account and figure out how the website works but once you do it once it goes pretty quick.

One of the neatest things about ordering online from Dominos is the "Create your own pizza" option. It is neat to be able to customize your pizza yourself. I went to dominos website, logged into my account, customized my pizza, and checked out. It said that it would be 30-45 minutes before my pizza was delivered but my pizza arrived about 20 minutes later hot and delicious!!

As much as I love pizza I know it is not the healthiest option for me and my family. I know there are healthy options for toppings that you can put on your pizza to reduce the calories but the dough and cheese override the health benefits. I would like to loose weight but I don't see ever giving up pizza...maybe cutting back.

Blog #2 Health & Wellness

I am 35, I have been married for 10 years, and we have 3 beautiful children. From the time I was in jr. high I have been very much into sports. I played softball from the time I was 10 until after I graduated high school. Since I started having kids I have put on 30-40 extra pounds. About a year and a half ago my husband and I went on a diet and I lost about 20lbs and I was feeling great but recently we moved out of state and away from our families and I went into somewhat of a depression state and have gained back about 10lbs.

I know that working out and eating right is very important not only for myself but my husband and children. I would like to say that I work out everyday and eat right but that is not the case. Since we are in a new and exciting new place we have been exploring not only the sights but the food as well. I have tried to make an effort to walk more, everytime I have the option to take the stairs or elevator/escalator I choose the stairs, I try and find a parking spot far away from the entrance, and I have tried to cut back on my food & soda intake. I have been trying to buy healthier snacks for my children; yogurt and fruit, and cutting out fried foods.

Yesterday my husband and I went to Dominos to order pizza for ourselves, our 3 kids, and my grandma who is here visiting from Texas. There are no parking spots in front of the store so we had to park a little farther down. As we were walking up to the store there was trash littering the sidewalk which is not too appealing.

We entered the store and we were greeted by a girl behind the counter that had blue and blonde hair! She was friendly, greeted us and took our order. We ordered 2 medium pepperoni and bacon pizzas (me and my husband's favorite) and 1 medium ham and pinneapple pizzas (our kids favorite).

The store was very clean and smelled like fresh baked pizza which was wonderful!! There was ample seating for people to wait. I personally would rather call ahead and have my pizza ready but waiting was not too bad especially since we didn't have to wait long; our pizzas were ready in about 12 minutes.

The girl behind the counter called us up to get our pizza but didn't open the box to present the pizza to us which was kinda upsetting but when we walked out of the store I opened up the boxes. Our pizzas looked perfect but there was 1 pepperoni that ended up on the side of the pizza on the box but aside from that it was good.
